Programming your mind for success | Carrie Green | TEDxManchester

Оценок: 68775 | Просмотров: 5334458
Never miss a talk! SUBSCRIBE to the TEDx channel: http://bit.ly/1FAg8hB Carrie Green started her first online business at the age of 20, whilst studying Law at the University of Birmingham. Within a few years she took the business global, selling throughout the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Europe and receiving over 100,000 hits on the website every month. In 2011 Carrie launched the Female Entrepreneur Association as a way to help inspire and connect female entrepreneurs from around the world. The network has grown to over 140,000 women and they now produce a digital magazine, This Girl Means Business, weekly videos, free online classes and more. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Loved the way she presented this valuable advice. Very inspiring, will help me to gather myself & achieve my planned goals.
William Jones (24 дня назад)
I quit watching as soon as she delineated the reasons why she thought people didn't come to the stage. She never said the person who volunteered to come up would be rewarded. She just said to come up. The only reason to decline some random invitation to be part of someone else's show is because you can think for yourself. She's ridiculous.
Adebowale (1 день назад)
William Jones notice how she said maybe before each of those reasons. You were just looking for something to criticize. You missed a very good message.

Actual psychology of "visualization" says it's more a feel good thing that doesn't really help that much. Of course one shouldn't also just put oneself down, but rather visualize challenges and solutions. Not just the end result of overcoming, but actual planning and so on.

The last 3 minutes speech was so inspirational as if it was a medicine that my brain needed to program my mind to put my best effort, reinforced my capabilities and make my dream come true.💪💕👏👍🎓

Success is no accident , Ash Ketchum from Pokemon, it starts by : 1)Knowing exactly what you want to achieve, be a Pokemon Master 2)Knowing why you need to achieve it, I am born to be the best and love Pokemon 3)Knowing the kind of a person that you need to become to achieve it, dreamer idealist 4) Programming your mind to achieve it (Visualization, Affirmation ), Watch tons of TV of The Pokemon League, to be a master is my dream all i gotta do is believe and i believe that i got a chance to win.

I feel lost and started question myself about everything! What’s the meaning to live? To love? To work on the job I hate! What I’m gonna do , what I should do! Trying to push myself in the crowd but every interaction leads me to being Sad Again!

This seems to come quite close to the mindset Conor McGregor seems to have. Some key points... Figure out what you really want so that you have a valued goal. Visualize your goals and what it takes to achieve them. Figure out what kind of person you need to be to do that. Have a growth mindset and be mindful about your thought processes so that you can start actively molding yourself to the kind of person you need to be.

This is one of the most useless talk ever. Period. I know she was trying to build the narrative but she took a lot of time to come to her point. She had a great start but sadly that was the only highlight in her talk.

I have to admit she bored me a little in the beginning but then I forced myself to hang in there and listen. This is probably the most important Tedx because she laid out a blueprint for success. Guided Visualization and Goals setting are powerful keys to unlock ones potential.

The last few minutes got me as well. I tried to change my mind habit from thinking about failure and how things could go wrong and then decide that hey I’ll think about what could go right. In saying that that makes life feel so good and now I can look back thinking hey my life felt so good. Smile to gravitate others to you, even when I tried to ask someone out at a stall today in a mall, yeah sure I was like there for half hour trying to get her number, eventually I was like alg see ya but I would just think about her being mine, anyone with anything I would think hey she’s mine, it’s about visualizing that I’ve already won makes things so much better and positive. Even just talking to strangers makes your ordinary day more extraordinary so it’s pretty awesome to take this approach and I wanna turn it into a habit, I’ll take it one day at a time but I’ll definitely keep going :D

Many greats have spoken on controlling your thoughts in detail.. such as eckhart tolle, don Miguel Ruiz, some dr Wayne Dyer.. I mean this is great, but what about the how’s? People need to learn how too?

Knowing what one wants and critically why one seeks that goal. Programming the mind seems to be the near-linguisitic programming to attain and focus on the goals that one really wants.

We are the biological computers that run mind models as apps. To install an app (skill) to your brain you gotta go through the process of learning. From this perspective you can learn anything. Yet, while the concept sounds so simple it’s actually difficult to realize.

Could anybody explain to me how to connect her first part of performance about fears to be a volunteer with the second part - to acheive your own goal in order to be holistic and happy? I like her way of speaking and her sharing the life experience, however, I cannot match these two parts. Maybe I have lost something useful from her speech)

Human civilization does not make me worse. Pierre De Fermat's wisdom has proven it. USE THE CODE TO SOLVE FERMAT Always be correct (x^1/a+y^1/a)^na=(z^1/a+x^1//a+y^1/a - z^1/a)^na. Call d=x^1/a+y^1/a - z^1/a =>(x^1/a+y^1/a)^na=(z^1/a+d)^na. They are composed of two groups One group contains x^n,y^n and z^n and the other contains all irrational numbers. z^n=x^n+y^n. Impossible!
